Save hundreds of pounds a year on your bills like I did!

I'm new here, but wanted to share with you how I saved pounds this year on bills, that most people have.
I have been following Martin for some time, but have never put anything into action. I retire next year and wanted to start reducing my bills.
First i called my Broadband company to see if I could reduce my bill, which was £55 pounds per month. Because we use our mobiles and do not even own a Land Line telephone, I asked if they could take off the charge for the phone and just pay for broadband. I reduced my bill by £30 a month, saving over £300 a year!
Next on the list was my mobile, I told them I would be leaving because my bill was just too high. I reminded them I had been a customer ever since I bought my first mobile. They offered a 50% discount, saving me a whopping £275 a year!
Next on the list was my Breakdown cover. I saw an advert for the company I use, offering a reduced price for new customers. I rang them to say that as a long term customer, I deserved a loyalty discount and what could they do? The reduced my bill by £216 a year!
It really is worth making a phone call and just asking. They really do not want you to leave!
Just make those phone calls and save a fortune!!!!!

Well done for saving a lot. You've used the "loyalty card" which these days is not much appreciated sadly - next year when your contracts expire try switching to another providers - for example you're still paying over £20 a month on your phone bill and that can be brought down by going elsewhere (very simple process).
Breakdown cover - not sure how much you're paying but have a look at certain bank accounts coming with it, maybe your one does to? There's a monthly fee - but it could work fine, otherwise just switching yearly from A to R, and again the year after etc.
As said again, we'll done, quick action and a lot saved.1
