Sunday Times Where Was I? competition

The prize:

The winner and guest will stay for two nights in a junior suite at Farlam Hall, a Relais & Châteaux hotel near Brampton in Cumbria that’s the Sunday Times’ Foodie Hotel of the Year. The hotel has two restaurants, the informal Bistro Enkel (open Sunday to Tuesday), and the Cedar Tree, which is open from Wednesday to Saturday each week. The Cedar Tree won its first Michelin star in February, for the chef patron Hrishikesh Desai’s inventive and beautifully executed cooking. Standout dishes include Scottish scallop with pork belly, and spring lamb in kebab spices. The winner and guest will enjoy a three-course dinner there on both nights (excluding drinks).

The hotel has undergone a top-to-bottom revamp and as well as refurbished rooms in the main house it offers luxurious stable suites in the grounds.

The prize must be taken before September 30, 2024, subject to availability.
