The other manufacturers expected to issue recalls have yet to be identified as investigations are continuing into exactly which products have been affected.

    I heard something on the radio about this, and it seems that some salad leaves, they believe, are contaminated out in the fields.

    I do sometimes buy the more unusual salad leaves so it would help to know which variety/ varieties are suspect.
    Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

    Another supplier has recalled products.  This one supplies WHSmith
    The news this morning is that it is one specific lettuce leaf and they are now trying to identify the supplier and farm that produced it.

    food.gov page last updated 14th june & says "Greencore Group is taking the precautionary step of recalling various sandwiches, wraps and salads because of possible contamination with E. coli.
    E.coli has not been detected in the products listed below but are being recalled as a precaution."
