Halifax Borrow More Application - Have I been approved?

We applied for some monies to do some home improvements..Online we saw the options to borrow more,however we went through our broker to do it. 

Current LTV was 26%, we were looking to increase it to 44%.

I recieved a letter saying thee enclosed a Mortgage Illustration, a declaration form which needs tu be signed and dated and an information for mortgage customers booklet. 

There is nothing saying it's approved, but our advisor seems to think by receiving this, it means it's approved... 

Has anybody else been through this?

Why are you questioning your Broker?

sounds like a mortgage offer received, mortgage broker and lender would definitely be more than clear that they have approved you and issued an offer, so you shouldn't have any doubts at this stage of the process, if you're not sure, just send your broker a clear question: "does it mean my mortgage offer is issued?" that should leave you with a clear answer

Thanks, my broker had said they think that meant approval. However I spoke to the Halifax about something else today and asked how things were progressing, they said they were still waiting for docs from broker etc.
