Who can give me a definitive statement on my NI contributions

I'm 71 so already retired. When I reached 65 I was convinced I had a full 35 years - made up of 21 paid in the UK and 14 paid in Australia. My understanding is that the UK had a reciprocal agreement with Australia until 2000/2001. Since my 14 years were just before this deadline I've assumed they're included in my pension calculation. However, my pension was around £20 lower than the full pension. When I queried this I was given long, complicated explanations that essentially said I didn't have the full 35 years. I let it go in the end because I was so confused I thought they might reduce it even further if I challenged it!
But now Martin says we can increase our pension if we pay some of the missing years. I'm all for that - but where do I go to get a detailed explanation of my current NI contributions? Not the Government Gateway, as that doesn't show any of my Australian contributions.

You are labouring under a misapprehension that 35 years gets you a full state pension. That only applies to those who started their working lives after the introduction of the new State Pension in 2016.
Those of us who are older are under transitional rules and may need more or less depending on our individual records (I think we've seen everything from 29 to 49 quoted here).0
