Hi any tips on cleaning bird poo and green on fences. How do we stop birds perching in fence?

There is a spray and leace product from Spear and Jackson which will tackle the green, search online for cheapest prices. Impossible to stop bird poo, neighbour installed spikes on fence but that did not stop them and spikes detiorated quite quickly.thankfully.1
