Morning All,      I have 2 outstanding credit card debts in my name and am with Stepchange, I have recently just lost my husband so I'm presuming I will still have to pay them off but would/could Stepchange go to them to see if they will come up with something else?

I know the above does not probably make sense so sorry,

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Does it mean you are in a worse position financially?

Yes, go back to stepchange with the new situation. There are a dozen different strategies and the one they chose last time does not mean its the best now

Just to add my sympathies, there are 4 debt solutions available, I presume you are in a DMP, would a DRO be suitable? If you look on the Stepchange website all options are there in detail.

Oh Carol I'm so sorry you are in that position.

You already have the best of advice from sourcrates and fatbelly - but I didn't want to read and run.

I’m sorry to hear about your loss.

When you have any change to your situation, you can get in touch with StepChange for a review. We can look at adjusting your monthly payments, or we may be able to recommend other debt solutions that are now more suitable for you.

I’d recommend calling our Review team, their contact details can be found here.

    Regards,
