You apply it on your lower and/or upper eyelid, apparently don't do it right in the inner eyelid as it makes your eyes appear smaller(Errm) I usually apply it where my lashes are, and give it a bit of a cleopatra flick at the end.
Go for one of the well know brands, Rimmel, Maybelline, those cheap ones are terrible, flaky and dissapear in the blink of an eye...literally.Win £2008 in 2008 no #49 £601.91/£2008

Experiment with colours, white inside the lower rim can make your eyes appear bigger.
Black all the way round can be very dramatic, if you smudge use a cotton bud dipped in eye make up remover to correct (superdrug have their own which is good and only 99p!)
khol pencil is better for smudging for the smokey effect, the other pencils are better for solid lines, liquid eyeliner is tricky, you need a really steady hand for it. Rest elbow on table or firm surface, pull out corner of eye (gently) to get to upper lash line better.
Apply any base make up, such as foundation then apply any eye shadow then use eye liner then mascara.
If you go for dramatic eyes try and keep the rest of your make up fairly neutral, unless you really want to stand out.
Keep the pencil sharp to draw defined lines, and roll it between your fingers or stick it in front of the hairdryer to warm it to get it to go on easier
And practice a few times before you decide to test it out on people. Maybe get some of the fashion type mags and copy some of the models make up, just to give you an idea of what suits you.0 -
I find using normal eyeshadow and wetting a thin brush works well as eyeliner, you can make it as strong or subtle as you like, its easier to control as its easy to wipe off as well.:j mseswgwa:j0

Lots of tips0 -
i was a goth for many years (now i'm old and lazy) the best one i found was max factor kohl. Easy to use, long lasting, pretty much smudge proof unless you rub your eyes and cheap at £4.50 ish. If you do apply kohl to your bottom lid, leave a gap between then inner corner and your starting point (it can block the tear ducts and become infected). I still use it every now and then when i go out. I've never been able to get the hang of liquid, but have fun experiementing.0
