Moving to property owned outright and changing mortgage to that property

I have to move for work purposes and am moving to a property I own outright. However, the property I currently live in has a mortgage on it - how easy is it to move the mortgage onto the property I own outright?

Probably possible with a very, very small number of lenders. Ask yours.
Most permit a port only when purchasing. Very few will port to a remortgage.I am a mortgage broker.
