London Santander Cycles Free Sundays in June

Free 30 minute cycle rides on Santander cycles in London on Sundays in June 2024.
As many per day as you like
Free to anyone despite the press release title which says "Londoners".
Just enter the discount code CYCLESUNDAYS online or at the payment terminal.
It's not clear if rides will be free if you already have a Santander keyfob linked to a payment card and you just use your keyfob to undock the bike (as opposed to going online and purchasing a free Day pass).
(I have sent in a contact form to ask, but if anyone has experience from tomorrow or already has had this question answered please reply to this post).

And the answer from the Santander cycles helpdesk..Go to your online account and buy a Day Pass (with the discount code CYCLESUNDAYS) first before using your keyfob to undock a cycle.That's a little trap for the unwary or over assuming.0
