Accepting A Mortgage Offer

I'm just looking to put my mind at rest over the weekend.
We applied for a mortage via a major online broker and subsequently received an offer last month from Virgin Money, which is valid until 03/12/2024, this got sent over to our solicitor the same day.
Fast forward to now and we've actually exchange on a home yesterday and signed the mortgage deed via the solicitor, but what I can't remember doing is actually signing to accept the mortgage offer. I'm begining to worry if this is a crucial step that I missed and we could be lose the house and our deposit. The wording in the offer does say its valid until 03/12/2024, but another section says we have 7 days to accept the offer. But from what I can see there isn't anything to sign and return in the offer pack we received.
Am I right in thinking that signing the deed via the solicitor which gets sent to Virgin Money is generally considered as our acceptance of the offer?
I'll obviously be speaking to the relevant parties on Monday, but for now, I'm abit concerned.

Your solicitor wouldn't be proceeding with work if there wasn't a valid mortgage offer in place.0
