white bar keeps getting in the way

Hello ages ago i remember there was a way to stop the white bar at the top going over everything all the time which i did but ive just got a new laptop so its back and cant find the old thread about it.
Does anyone remember how to get rid of it please?

Just hover over the forum home and the link to turn on and off is there.
