Accord Mortgage - awaiting offer

Hi All, has anyone else applied recently (via broker) and how long did it take to get a full offer?
Has the fact the val been booked mean all is OK pending the val or is this an automated process and still checks/underwriting needs to happen?

Hi Aqua,

We've just had our offer from Accord this week, but ours took a bit longer than some I think. 

16/05/24 - Full application
03/06/24 - Valuation completed (I'm not sure why it was booked for so late, perhaps vendors unavailable)
04/06/24 - Offer received

I don't think valuation booked means everything else is sorted, as they were still asking questions up until the working day before the valuation visit, but offer did come through the very next day.

If you search other similar Accord threads, some people have had offers within a week from them. Ours was 13 working days.
