Very cheap new USB printer cables

These are standard USB printer cables (USB Type A Male to USB Type B Male), with the proprietary name "Lindy". I've just ordered one from https://www.maxsave.co.uk

1.8 metres -- item code CBUSB2M -- £2.90
5.0 metres -- item code CBUSB5M -- £4.90

These prices are with free p&p/delivery -- so in other words it's as cheap if not cheaper than buying a used cable off ebay!

Hope this helps someone (e.g. those like me who got a free printer from Dell but didn't shell out for their expensive cable).

Ermm.. Pick one up from the poundshop for a quid..

Or if you must buy online 2M ones are 75p at ebuyer.com , but buy some of their other bargains whilst you are paying postage ( case fans , other cables, case modding lights are all very cheap)..

Don't pay more for a supposedly better quality cable. Cable quality is not important for USB cables because it carries a digital signal. Mind you the ones in the pound shop are decent quality with good moulded connectors.

I've used CableUniverse too. Very good but I think postage is about £3 even if you're ordering just 1 cable

BUT they are still only a pound, with no postage at your local pound shops, e.g. Poundland and that is it.

Strange too how the USB 2 cables have almost disappeared, that is another con. rumbled as wire is just wire at all usb frequencies.

mods, this is not really a grabbit post, with apologies to OP.

The places that charge more than ten times what you can get these cables for are a disgrace.

Dell are even worse than PC World. I bought one of their inkjet printers when they were selling them for £9.99 delivered. If you want a cable it costs another £12.93 - more than the printer was!
