Hi, can anyone please recommend a site where I can download, for free, without a 7 day free sign up trial, a private loan agreement template (UK) that I can use? thanks

When you refer to a private loan agreement do you mean say between 2 friends?
You do know the agreement isn't enforceable right? You could write it on a scrap of paper for all the difference it makes. It might help if there is a dispute but if you are not a broker, there isn't a lot more you can do other than small claims and if they don't have money then you can't get blood out of a stone.
Only lend money on the assumption it's a giftSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

For all that it will be worth you might as well draw it up yourself. Money lending and friends & family do not mix well - it will be an issue waiting to blow up. Suggest to the lender that they apply for a normal loan, or better still, find another way to get the money together for whatever it is they want to buy.1

It's not legally binding. Best you can do is "Give me the money back or I'll never speak to you again".
