@housebuyer143 how do you know legals aren't free any more?

Well when j looked on the morning you said it changed, the rates were all different to the previous day and no legals were on there. But I've just gone back to the website and it's all changed?! So I don't know what happened there.
The rates should be what's on the website and the free legals are back.

@housebuyer143 the interest rates are still the same, I took a screenshot the day before they changed as I wanted to compare.

Free legals is interesting as to us this makes sense to move as 100% offsetting it's just doubts from L&C

Is remortgaging before the end of a term harder when doing it solo?

Ah I see what I did - must have forgotten to put it onto remortgage on the website filter

No, no harder at all. You get the offer and then they assign you a solicitor who will do it all for you for free. Very straightforward. I used their assigned solicitor last year and I wouldn't say they were great, but they did do the remortgage correctly and on time.

@housebuyer143 for me though it looks free legals on a remortgage and not on first time buyer....
