Refurbished but excellent value. I (or my family) have bought 3 camcorders and a couple of cameras here. Know what the going rate is and have fun.0 -
Generally the likes of boots wouldn't stock something like the Nikon D70 or thwe Canon 350D as its a little too specialised (you need extra lenses etc. etc.) So you'll not see a boots style clearout. Jessops has sales, but they're a bit rubish IMHO. Best place to get these things cheaply (and bare in mind we're still talking £500+) is though places like https://www.7dayshop.co.uk, ebay far east resellers and occasional bargains on here (do a search on some of the camera names to see some past bargains.).
Are there any you've got your eye on?

yeah....nikon or cannon £3 to 400 as it dfoent need to be 12 m/pixel, just haVE good optics0 -
You could be looking second hand then, as even with some of the rebates nikon and canon are offering I think you'll be pushed to get a true SLR for that price. Of you could go for one of the SLR-like ones? Similar design, normally with a good range of focal lengths, but you can't change the lens...
