Advice on “silent” Barclays debt

Hi all,
Appreciate some advice on how best to deal with this.
Appreciate some advice on how best to deal with this.
Took out a Barclays loan in 2016, all fine repayments etc. In Nov 2017 received a cancer diagnosis and was unable to work for 7 months - Barclays refinanced this loan to me as a “resolve” loan - and interest frozen. I was paying back the resolve loan for a few years. In 2020, had a second cancer diagnosis and understandably things went to pot a bit - I defaulted on 4 accounts including Barclays whilst recovering.
In late 2020, I took charge and entered a self managed DMP with the accounts, which has worked fine - monthly payments up to date etc.
Except for this Barclays loan, they’ve never sold it on, never contacted me, I just receive twice yearly default notices.

I really want to pay it back - I’m 2 years from the debt being SB, but I have contacted Barclays trying to set up a repayment plan to no avail.
Do I literally just wait this out until someone contacts me (debt company or Barclays themselves)? to organise repayments ?
Trying to do the right thing but have had a pretty bad time health wise so am also conscious of my own mental health.
Any advice massively welcomed!

Its quite likely Barclays have taken an internal commercial decision and decided not to pursue this account due to your health issues.
If you are contacted, then deal with it, until then, carry on as normal.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
