Deleting Self Assessment to start again

My address changed after I started my self assessment. My HMRC profile shows my new address but this is not automatically applied to my SA. I can choose to correct it with the effective date but I would prefer to have it correct in the first instance as it has been in previous years.
I see an option to Delete the SA. If I do this, will I have the option to create another one straight away or will it cause some issue or require some HMRC intervention?

Do long as you haven’t submitted it there is no issue. HMRC has no knowledge of any entries that you make until that happens.hoc said:My address changed after I started my self assessment. There is no option to delete once submitted for obvious reasons. While I appreciate your response I would appreciate to hear confirmation from more tenured posters.

I am not sure what you mean by "more tenured posters" but I agree with the advice @[Deleted User] has given.
If you haven't submitted the return you can go back to change any of the entries and then check again that everything is correct before submitting the return.1 -
Having worked as a tax consultant for 42 years with HMRC, with a large accountancy firm and now privately, how much more ‘tenured’ would you like me to be?hoc said:[Deleted User] said:
