Loan or card: Unsure which would suit my situation

Hello,

I have just recently bought a house and I had to get 2 months advance on my salary to do so. My mortgage repayments are much lower than my salary in general but I will really struggle to pay all of my bills for the next few months until I am back on my feet.
All options I have come across offer a large amount of money up front to borrow and you pay them back monthly. However, I do not have the money to pay it back for the next 3-4 months but I will very quickly be able to pay off any loans/debts after that initial difficult spell.

The perfect situation would be to get a loan that has some sort of flexibility at the start, allowing me a few months of no repayments. Does anyone know what the best option will be? All cards and loans I have seen do not offer this.

I am looking for around £1k-£2k and I will be able to repay this within a year. Monthly repayments could start within 3-4 months

a million  years ago the bank manager gave  me a loan and deferred payments for 3 months as I hadn't taken my final exams - it was in the days when he could do that just off his own say-so - I was a good risk, likely to have good job and income for the forseeable future ... and I am still with that bank.

Any chance of a 0% interest CC?

0% purchase Credit card, will be the nearest, as you will only have to pay the minimum a month.

Other option is money transfer card. which allows you to transfer cash to your bank account, again min payment a month.

The issue is will you get one given your situation.

I agree with the idea of getting a 0% interest CC.  Perhaps one on purchases?  That way you could be buying groceries, petrol, etc and only making minimum payments which should give you more wiggle room.  If you already have a couple of CCs which are maxed then a 0% balance transfer CC would mean you could clear one and then use it to buy your normal essentials, hopefully clearing those off each month to avoid interest charges.
