How to deal with SafetyNet Credit...

So like others out there, we all received the email to say:
Collections for outstanding SafetyNet and Tappily loans have now ceased with effect from 9 April 2024. For any customers who still had an outstanding balance at this point, this will be marked as partially settled on their credit file to reflect that the loan was not fully repaid.
At what point should this happen? They haven't updated my reports since March 2024 and have a default date 4.5 years after I stopped paying.
I have been in contact with Transunion who said they will supress the incorrect information until they hear from the creditor but they won't hear from them, they no longer exist. All I've seen so far on a credit report it a note with a reference number but all information in view. Maybe I just miss understand what they were doing or how credit reports work.
This is my last big glitch on my file which I want to sort out.

The whole entry will drop off your file 6 years from date of default, that isn`t going to change.
Your credit file is unlikely to be updated further, as the company no longer exists, nothing more you can do.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. So them saying they will mark credit files as partially settled was wrong and I now have 5 years to wait for it to fall off my file instead of one?
The only open default & debt on my file from January 2025 when it should have fallen off next year.Debt £7976 | Savings £350Aims: Buy first home 2026-8. £20k deposit0 -
Well, a default marker trumps everything, a partially settled defaulted account is only marginally better than a defaulted one.
The message you received was generic, in your case a default surpasses all else.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
