Many seem to have an idea that a contract only exists if it is written on velum, signed in blood using a quill from a phoenix and yet regularly enter into a contract of sale at Tesco/Asda/Lidl without any of that. Life is always easier with a fully documented contact signed by all parties etc but most contracts are full of implied terms rather than written ones.
A variance of the contract was entered into when you cut your hours. It is evidenced by the fact you have worked less hours since then, without them triggering disciplinary clauses for you not working full hours, and them continuing to pay you at the revised amount. In the absence of evidence to the contrary all other clauses would remain unchanged2 -

The background and circumstances that brought about my reduced hours are more complex than what everyone inferred from my OP.My question was about the contract and notice period and your post answered this so thank you.0
