Solar PV with microinverters

Thanks for that. I take it from p 35 that the green light has nothing to do with consumption, purely whether or not there is power input. The rest of the manual is way above my pay grade, I just hope that if and when the time comes to repair or replace there is someone competent enough. Has anyone worked out statistically what the probable working life of such units is?
I did once or twice contact the original installer about MOT / servicing but the response was not enthusiastic. I should really research who there is in the north east that I can resort to when or preferably before the time comes.

It might be wise to see how the panels stack up against the micro inverters using the data from SOTC rather than the headline STC.
I am a long-time Enphase user. Our old house had M215 x 14 matched to 250W (on paper max - 3 KW) panels installed in 2015, which produced 3.1 KW as peak a year after installation. I have had two panels degrade, and the system tops off at 2.8KW. The roof is pretty much south-facing, with shading in the morning. Looking at the charts, there may be a bit of clipping, but as Enphase presents it - the cost of going up to the next microinverter is not worth it! PVoutput Link to PV output for all the logged data.
When we moved, I went with Enphase (the details are in my signature). Our system has panels in multiple orientations, and I think the 330W panels were undersized. PVOutput
I'm adding six further panels later in the year - hopefully 440W panels and IQ8AC, but this does involve an additional Gateway
I do love the panel level monitoring and integrating this to Home Assistant has been amazing.
For a few months (I'm not sure which year), I had problems with the micro-inverter (old system); a few were offline—enphase fixed this for me remotely. The installer had not loaded the grid profile (well, he had gone bust), and they were working with no grid profile.
