Using a old style razor.

Hello.
I don't know if this is the right place to post, but it saves me money anyway.
Right if you think the price of razors is getting ridiculous, why not try an old style safety razor like the ones that our dads used in the 50,60, and early 70s.
I've saved £££ since using one for 3 years now.
There is a learning curve to them, but not hard to master.
I can buy 100 blades for under a tenner and a good quality razor should on cost £25.

I've seen people using them online but l think it becomes more of a hobby then than just saving money.

Yes, you can save money, but I agree, it can become a hobby. The big river co is currently selling a very acceptable King C Gillette DE razor and 5 blades for less then a tenner. I have this razor, and it is very good value for money, and gives an excellent shave.

Yes, had a few small ones on my face which over time l must have taken off layer by layer. I asked my GP about them and he said as long as you didn't make them bleed regular no worried. Seriously though l try not to nick them best to leave alone.coffeehound said:
