MAP (Scotland) bankrupt and internet provider

I am considering going bankrupt (or MAP) which is available to me because I am in Scotland and have no assets. I am happy with this choice because will remove so much stress. However, my worry is that I am with Virgin Media (I don’t have any debt at all with them) but I read somewhere that someone had gone bankrupt and they had called to ask them to change providers. I have been on the phone with Virgin Media who say they have never heard of anything like it and that as long as I continue to pay my bills there won’t be an issue. They can’t give me this in writing because they don’t have an official policy email or such likes. I just cannot lose Virgin media and it is the only thing standing in my way of less stress. I am dealing with stepchange, who advised I should speak to Virgin media, so just wondering what others experiences have been.
