Good morning, it's a fine start here, but I'm sure the rain will appear at some point. We had heavy rain for a while last night.
Sorry to hear that your job may be at risk Camelot, worrying isn't it.
Izzie, you're right, nothing is straightforward, Hope there are no more blips.
I went shopping yesterday, but the cardigan I wanted to look at in M&S didn't seem to be in stock - I know I can order on internet, but I wanted to see the colour, it's not always the same on the screen. I 'll go to Newcastle or Metro centre where they are bigger stores.
We are going to a funeral this afternoon, we'll just go to the crem, not the wake afterwards.
Home everyone ok, thinking of the poorly people. Take care folks.

Morning Everyone
The sun is shining and there's not a cloud in the sky - can we hope for a day without rain I wonder!
Once home yesterday I put the washing out and it dried quickly, it had been on the pulley and airer all day. Ironing has been done this morning. I seem to have a small forest of tomato plants so after giving some away I've planted the rest in the garden for them to take their chances, seemed a shame to throw them out.
Hope the funeral goes ok Scarlet.
How's the cough now Gers?
Hope the building remains safe snoozer.
Wishing Mr F well Florence.
Feel better soon dp1.
What a shame you have a delay Izzy, bet you can't wait for it to be finished now.
We've a big meeting next week regarding the loss of hours, it's just about every school. To be fair the school offices are over populated and everyone will have a job, just not in the places they are now. Lots of rumours and the Unions are at the bottom of those so I'll just wait to see what's what.
Have a good day, take care. XX8 -

Click on 'find in store' and fill in the place.Yesterday I did a little shopping as planned and called in on a friend on the way back. Her husband had gone off sailing for a couple of days so we were able to chat nicely. It was lovely coming home to a clean home, not that it gets mucky! My cough is lingering on so I'm not going to my pool class this morning. On Sunday (yes, Sunday) I have my MRI so I really want to get rid of the cough as much as possible so I can minimise moving around.7 -
Morning everyone
Thanks for the good wishes - I got some antibiotics yesterday, hopefully they'll help. Had a wander round the charity shops before I got the bus home - I bought nothing!
Has anyone else been watching Race across the world? I enjoyed last nights final - I'm quite disappointed it's finished.
So today I have a day to myself. I was expecting an electrician to look at my thermostat between 8.30 and 12.30 - he arrived at exactly 8.30 and sorted the problem in 2 minutes. Nothing else happening till my shopping gets delivered between 4-5pm, so I have the day to potter and perhaps finish reading my Sunday Times. I don't know if it will include any garden tidying as it's looking very grey. When I came home yesterday, my grass had been cut - it really needed it after all the rain we've had.
Florence - I hope Mr F is ok.
I'm not often on the bus that leaves my stop at 2 minutes to 9, but when I have been I've noticed the drivers let people get on and don't scan their passes till they get drive down to the bottom of the hill, when it will be 9am or just after.
Right better get on. Hope everyone has a good day x7
