Paye and doing a one of side hustle job

Hi im paye paid and i did a job outside my work where i was paid over 1k trading allowence. Its a one of thing and wont happen again i dont think. Do i need to register as a sole trader?

Ok reading more and as soon as you do a self assessment. you are considered a sole trader.
My issue is did some one of work and wondering how to declare my income. I didnt know if i needed to register as a ltd or something.0 -
