Mortgage brokers - accessibility-friendly?

Options
Hi,

I have had an offer accepted for a lovely property, and am navigating my way through the estate agent and solicitors very well.

However, I am having an absolute nightmare with L and C due to their broken user journeys.

I am hearing impaired and unable to take or make telephone calls. I have clearly mentioned this in my application forms.

They have literally told me there is no other way to continue the application process and are spamming me with emails to book a call and then calls to my mobile which I reject. Emailing their customer care inbox bounces back as undeliverable. Emailing their 'Contact us' mailbox also bounces back. This is followed by another call to my mobile which I reject and then another email asking me to book a call.

I contact them on their socials who say they have passed it to the Customer Care team, and then the whole cycle is repeated.

Can anyone recommend some alternative brokers where they actually provide a decent and accessible service?

Another one for L&C being geared up for the masses not the individuals.
    Contact some smaller firms.

I normally prefer to speak to people as I think it helps to build up trust and understanding etc, but appreciate thats not possible in your situation. I think I would feel ok working on something like whatsapp so I can at least save the conversation trail to our file... thats not me touting for business btw, I am off on holiday from friday so not taking on any new applications. Its more just to point out that it should be possible, but some brokers might not be set up for it.

Thanks very much for your response.

L and C were recommended by two of my friends, and so I don't know of any others (I'm a FTB).

I don't know about the accessibility side of things but HSBC have always been super helpful.  Perhaps go directly to them unless you specifically need a broker

Mortgage Brokers near me into google.
Have a look at the reviews of some of the local firms.

To be honest, that seems to be a mismatch.  Using a phone based service in your situation is not ideal.
Factory line services like L&C like the easy stuff.  They are not set up and don't really want more complicated cases.

Can anyone recommend some alternative brokers where they actually provide a decent and accessible service?
Any of your local independents. (either dedicated in their own mortgage and insurance office or in an IFA firm).  Not estate agents (unless it's an independent estate agent that uses a local independent firm).
