littlewoods had nice girl ones for about £40 each in the sale..white metal. You may walk and you may run

You can get the frames for about £50 in Ikea. Mattresses start from £40 I think.
My little girl has this one: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/10073977
My son has a tubular silver bed which isn't in the catalogue - I'm sure the frame was only £40
There's at least one single metal bed frame in the Next sale for £70.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

The problem with Ikea is that their beds and mattresses are European sizes - these are not the same as UK sizes. Have you tried Tesco's?EGG are a bunch of complete bankers!0

I don't see what the problem is with Ikea beds? So what if they're about 5cm bigger? All the better I say! As long as you buy the mattress from Ikea and it fits, then who cares? The mattresses come in all different price ranges too. We use regular single & king single duvets and bedding from Next, Debenhams, Ikea & Habitat for our beds and it makes no difference
bit of a squeeze for fitted sheets but still not bad, or just use flat sheets.
The beds from ikea are the one thing I would say provide brilliant value for money as they actually stand the test of time and moving house over and over again.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
