Some help please on my debts - Credit Report doesn't show "date of default"

Hi All

Hope you're all well
Up to about 2018 we were in a Debt Spiral, over 75k as a couple, mostly C/c's, some bank overdrafts
From early 2019 we set up time-to-pay arrangements, closed all c/c's / overdrafts, and have been living month-to-month with about £15 a month going to various Creditors.

I have checked my "Your TransUnion Credit Report", through Moneysavingexpert Credit Club, and it lists all my credit cards (and bank overdraft). It describes them all as "Your account is in default" and shows how much I owe to each of them, this amount is labelled "Default Balance"

(It seems from this that each account was "defaulted", from a Credit Reference Agency point of view, as well as being in a "Time to pay" arrangement. I can't remember one way or the other.)

What it does not show is the "DATE of default". So I can't see how near or far I am to 6 years of it coming off my Credit File. Surely TransUnion must know this date, or else how will they ever know when to remove a Credit Account in default? And if *they* know it, how can I get to see it?

I can see the month by month "payment history"
These don't even show the monthly £1 amounts, they just say for each month i click on:

"Credit limit  £0
Account status No data available
Payment status Account has defaulted"

I went to Clearscore, same issue. I have sent out messages to both TransUnion and Clearscore, not received any meaningful answer back yet.

Any ideas how I can obtain the dates of default?

thanks

Mike

Did you actually stop paying long enough to get the creditors to register defaults? They will have sent you a letter demanding repayment of the full sum outstanding and then a couple of weeks later one telling you that the financial relationship had broken down and they were terminating it.

If you rushed into paying a small sum by arrangement then you might get a letter telling you that you have defaulted on the monthly payment but that will continue until the debt is paid.

You'd be looking for AP markers. These damage your credit record for 6 years after the debt is paid off.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing

Get a statutory credit report from Experian. It should all be on there

    Hi
https://www.creditkarma.co.uk show the default date and it is free.

    Thank you fatbelly and Sly

Both of these worked - clearly showing the "date of default".

On both Clearscore and on "Your TransUnion Credit Report" - through Moneysavingexpert Credit Club, the "date of default" does not display

    Thanks

Personal opinion "Your TransUnion Credit Report" - through Moneysavingexpert Credit Club, the "date of default" does not display i would raise with Moneysavingexpert Credit Club, under experian it showed this detail.

I agree. It's important info, obviously held by CRAs and should display
