E: 14/01/08 - Pure Garage CD

Pure Garage has never really left us, for those who have the collection it has frequented their CD players a lot through the years. Garage music has never really gone away with hotspots such as Ayia Napa boasting their biggest numbers ever this summer and the new Bassline House emergence bringing back some of those well know garage beats to the airways.

It’s been over three years since the last Pure Garage album was released and now, the time is here for another in the series to see us through the long winter nights. The Pure Garage crew have done us proud with 3 CD’s of the biggest old skool garage anthems, including number one hits, sing-a-long girly vocals, 2 step beats and underground classics. If that wasn’t enough there is also a 4th bonus CD with the biggest Nu Skool Garage and Bassline House anthems including the massive exclusive Benga & Coki - Night. This 100 track collection will save us from desperately trying to catch a pirate wave in this new age of DAB!!

Pure Garage has sold over 1.7 million copies to date and is without a doubt the biggest Garage music brand in the world. Mixed by non other than the pioneer of Garage music himself, DJ EZ. Yes, this master of the decks has found time out of his Friday night Garage show on Kiss FM and his busy club schedule up and down the country to blast out our sound systems with the new release of Pure Garage – Rewind – Back To The Old Skool.

We all reminisce the days when So Solid, Artful Dodger and Luck & Neat were the biggest acts across the country. Unfortunately we can’t go back in time, but we can…Rewind! Featuring tracks from Garage music’s hall of fame, this album was one of the hardest records to compile in Pure Garage history, carefully selected and spanning across 4 banging CD’s. EZ certainly does not disappoint with a blend of 4x4 beats of the best in classic Garage anthems and massive chart successes featuring the likes of Sticky feat Miss Dynamite (Boo), So Solid (21 Seconds), Wookie (Battle), Sia (Little Man), Wideboys (Sambucca) and Roy Davis Jr (Gabriel) to mention but a few.

One listen of this fantastic set and you will discover just what made this the biggest UK dance genre of all time.
