Coming up to 6 years, what's next?

Options
After a great financial history, buying houses, doing them up and selling them to climb the ladder, responsible management jobs, but health failing, losing my parents (adding inheritance to good savings), owning my own business, I allowed my boyfriend to take over managing my business because I was really struggling with health, he turned out to be one of these double life conmen you hear about, but don't think you would ever fall for and I ended up in huge debt, he was abusive too and really screwed with my head destroying my self confidence and belief.
When I finally managed to extract myself I met a man who must have seen the vulnerability in the then very screwed up me and I went through more abuse, eventually fleeing to a women's refuge with the help of the abuse services and started to sort myself out, part of this was going through bankruptcy.
I'm now living on benefits because I cannot work (something I find very difficult after pretty much being a workaholic), I'm in a housing association property which has a big garden which I love but I desperately need to get it lanscaped to make it manageable because of my physical issues and that it gets me down (mental health wise) when I can't keep it nice. I took out a high interest flexi loan about 18 months ago and had some of it slabbed and now they're offering for me to add to it which would cover the rest of the work I want doing.
So my 6 years end in August, what changes to my credit score and ability to borrow should I expect, will offers of lower interest open up, am I likely to be able to get bank account moving deals, I have some 6 months no interest card offers, but are these likely to get longer or with better interest deals, is it worth me waiting?
Sorry it's so long and thanks in advance.

Sounds like it's been a bit of a rollercoaster ride.  Life does seem to kick people when they are down sometimes.

But the nugget I'm getting from this is that you want to get the garden sorted and are wondering about ways to afford that.  Before you go and get some debt have you looked in to seeing if there is a group local to you that would do the work for free or at a discount for someone on benefits?  In our area there is both the "Handyvan" service which will do specific tasks as long as they can be done in 2 hour chunks and your provide the materials.  So they might be able to build you raised beds for the garden or similar.  There's also a section of the organisation that runs a lot of the local food banks that does gardening and landscaping.  There's also a local group that helps those with anxiety and mental health issues to do gardening at about half the rate of a normal gardener.

So I would look for what's available that doesn't actually cost you much first.

And then yes, things are likely to open up for you as your bad patch on your credit reports fades into ancient history.  Don't forget your credit score is something that only you see.  It's the credit reports with the history of how well (or not) you handle your credit that the banks look at.  If you have a few years looking nice and shiny you will appear a better risk and more likely to get deals.  Make sure as well that you are on the voter register as that makes you look more stable.
