Endowment maturity

Hi we have an endowment which is due to mature soon. This is no longer attached to a mortgage and hasn’t been since 1999. Aviva are asking for proof of no interest from the Nationwide (old mortgage provider). We do not have a record of the mortgage number and Nationwide say they can’t provide proof of no interest without this. We are therefore in a position where we can’t access the money that we have saved. The solicitors firm
no longer exists and we are a loss at what we can do to access our money. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

Could you send them a copy of the Title deed from LR showing there is no charge on the property assuming that it was removed when the mortgage was paid off?
