Getting out of deffered payment???

I ordered a sofa from ScS on a deffered payment scheme. The sofa cost £789 and is not due to be delivered until 11/01/08. The problem is that it is now advertised in their sale for £489 and I am gutted. Is there any way I can terminate the agreement before delivery??

Bet they will if you tell them you have lost your job and can't afford to pay the installments.
Ask then to deliver it quicker as you are being declared bankrupt a week before the delivery date and understand that if it is delivered before you are bankrupt you will not have to pay for it but will still be able to keep it.
Sorry but I just have to ask this, why did you buy a sofa just before xmas, don't you watch the TV and see all the sofas on sale after boxing day?0 -

This will not be an issue to SCS, as the credit agreement will not be with them. They will get their money, and the finance people will just chase the OP for the money.Gone ... or have I?0
