I've recently done a joint pain course run at a local Nuffield gym. (Which i understand is partly funded by the local authority, the nhs and the 'chatity arm of Nuffield')
I would recommend it, it's 2 sessions a week for 12 weeks, and then a further 12 weeks free to use the gym, pool and classes, then half price membership after that.
The gym seems to prefer to give information verbally, but when it comes to prices and discounts, shouldnt each gym have some kInd of price list?
Currently I've just been asked to email my bank account details to a duty manager so they can set up a DD before my free 12 weeks finishes. No mention of the type of membership, contract details etc.
Has anyone else done the course and then 'signed up' to half price membership?
Has anyone got a joint/couples membership who could tell me what the % discount is for the second person please?

I definitely wouln't be sending them my bank details until I was very clear what I was going to be charged. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.2

I also completed the 12 Joint Pain Programme which finished Dec 2021. I then signed up to do another 12 weeks (which was free) but this part was not supervised. At the end of that I was offered a half price full access gym membership which I accepted. There were initial teething problems with the be able to set up the Direct Debit but when that was sorted out eventually. I still have my membership and go to the gym several times a week. I was told by the instructor at the beginning of the programme about the half price membership and again at the end. However when I initially tried to set up my membership with the admin team, they didn’t seem to be aware that Joint Pain Programme members get a discount and they had to checked it out with Head Office. I think it was due to the fact that I was one of the first group to do the programme at my gym so it was just miscommunication.I hope you got it sorted out as it is a really good offer.Ps I noticed your user name and coincidentally I got married in Lindos in 1999 and was back there for my 25th wedding anniversary last month!0
