GDPR in Grievance meeting?

Options
I have pictures which show my employers unethical practices, can I show them in a grievance meeting? Some of them contain names and dates etc. Can I show them too?

Cheers

That's an almost impossible question to answer. No idea what the grievance is about, and even less idea what you think is "unethical". And it may come as a shock,  but companies are allowed to be "unethical". If you don't like your employers ethics,  then leaving is the best solution.

But if you want a best guess, about ten minutes after you show your "evidence" about your employers lack of ethics,  I'd expect you to be handed an invitation to a gross misconduct hearing,  and your "evidence" is going to be their  evidence! Because you got permission to to take photos of their business on their premises so that you could prove they lacked ethics,  didn't you?

Probably time to start looking for another job. Whether you are right or not,  it seems like you and they are not a good fit.

That is far too little information for a meaningful comment.  You would need to share more information about what the initial meeting subject was and what you think was done that was unethical.

Not everything that may be considered unethical is illegal.

Did the people in the meeting know that you were recording video/photo?
    If not, was that ethical?

I agree with the above posters - unethical is a very wide term to use and just because you or someone else judges it to be so, that doesn’t mean it’s something they aren’t allowed to do

Ethics can be very subjective depending on the individual

For example- a vegan might find production and selling of meat unethical but that doesn’t stop businesses and people partaking.
It wouldnt then be reasonable for said person to get a job at McDonalds and then raise a grievance for unethical practices

You can show anything you like - but just be aware you could be digging your way to a P45 for the reasons outlined above.

Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!
