Will be really grateful for any help or steers to unpicking who the asset holder of a parcel of land now is. The original owner was a company that first went into administration / insolvency in 2005 - the legal charge subsequently passed to Northern Rock and an entity seemingly titled “Diversity Trustee No.1 Ltd” …
Would be great to know who and how to contact!
Very many thanks

Thanks for your reply. The name is stated in the administrator’s paperwork, under who the legal charge of the property was to be switched to (as per records available from Companies House)0

Very many thanks indeed MWT - that company does sound like it could be involved. From its Directors report for 2016 / accessed through London Stock Exchange link:
“ The Company was incorporated in Jersey, Channel Islands as a public company on 30 October 2007 in the name of Diversity Funding No. 1 Limited.Principal activities - The Company was established as a special purpose structure pursuant to the Memorandum of Association authorised on 30 October 2007 for the sole purpose of issuing variable reference rate Notes (the Notes) in connection with the securitisation of commercial mortgages originated by Northern Rock plo (the Originator) since renamed Virgin Money plc. The Notes are listed on the London Stock Exchange.”
And from later in the paperwork:
“ The Company is a securitisation vehicle for mortgage loans secured by first charges over commercial and residential properties within the United Kingdom originated by Northern Rock pc (the Originator), since renamed Virgin Money plc.… The Company was incorporated on 30 October 2007 and commenced its activity on 28 November 2007 when it issued £1,144.6 million of variable reference rate notes payable (referred to in these financial statements as the Notes) in order to purchase an equivalent interest in the Mortgages Trustee in respect of mortgage loans originated by Northern Rock. Capita Mortgage Management Limited replaced Northern Rock as Servicer in March 2009.”1
