Mortgage deal ended

Hi all, my mortgage deal ended last August even though they said I was made aware I only got texts saying its ending no date. Then in Feb this year saud I owed £75. I rang as I paid standing order every month and they told me I'd paid over every month which I did but they used all credit until Feb when it ran out. Devastated as it must have been thousands. My payment was interest only. From 320 to 765. I asked if this was now repayment, no still interest only. So now I looked and brokers still with TSB, had repayment for 580 to 605. When I questioned they said (reminded me of sky renewals) only available to new TSB customers. How the heck can interest only be this high when repayment lower through broker?
By the way I know I need to repay there's a lot going on so please don't comment negatively you don't know my story

You've gone onto TSB's standard variable rate.
The broker has found a rate a lot cheaper than that.0 -
If you are no longer on a fix you'll just have to remortgage to get a better rate.
What plans do you have in place to pay off the capital when your current interest only mortgage ends?

You don't need to be loyal to your current mortgage lender. Look in the best buy websites or see a broker who can match a mortgage to your circumstances. Unless you have a low LTV and/or high income you may struggle to find an interest only deal, but pushing out the term of the mortgage will give you lower repayments on a repayment mortgage.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
