UC and missing pension top ups

Options
Dear Moneysavingexperts,

My dilemma is that I was getting ESA until 2016, and it was changed to Universal Credit
due to long term illness.
Since 2016 and being on Universal credit, my pension top-ups have stopped.
I have spoken to the pension service who have advised me that I should not pay anything
to bring my pension back to the level, it should be UC who need to sort it out.
I have spoken to UC several times over the past years about the missing contributions
and been told not to worry as they are aware of the issue and I will get it at pensionable age.
The pension service have told me that might be what they say now, but there is no guarantee
that this will happen.
Others must be in the same position as me, is there any way you can look into this and get
a response from the DWP
