LGPS - back pay after pension started

WIfe has been paid some back salaty (5 months late) which shows another £150+ being paid into her LGPS pension which she took last September. As the payment has fallen into a new tax year and she will have less than £2k total earnings, this amount will affect how much she can pay into a pension this year. What options are open to her under LGPS processes e.g. will they allow her to transfer to her SIPP or will they try to recalculate her pension incorporating the latest funds and how long should I expect them to take to acknowledge and rectify this issue?

Usual process will be to recalculate her pension. But it won't be a 5 minute job, especially if others are similarly affected.1
