Car rental in Germany

Fifth Anniversary Combo Breaker
in I wanna buy it or do it
Heading over to Germany next month and thinking about hiring a car while there. Just bit worried about insurance etc. Anyone have any experience/tips?

    No advice about cars.  The trains are excellent.
