MSE 'missing' best accounts?

I always used to rely on MSE to keep me abreast of top paying accounts but recently I've noticed a couple missing from their tables (although they appear on MoneyfactsCompare)
e.g. best listed 'less than 1 yr' fix right now is Zenith 6 month fix at 5.18% followed by Cynergy at 5.12% - no mention of Gatehouse 6 month at 5.22%, which also offers monthly interest (which I prefer)
Also Ulster Bank 'Loyalty' instant access - all right, it's a 'loyalty' account but why doesn't it get a mention under the 'willing to work a little harder ....' section?
Is there any reason for these 'omissions' or am I missing something?

MSE comparison site is a free service, and does not guarantee to be bang up to date at all times.
Moneyfacts is a commercial service earning money for links to savings accounts.3 -

Moneyfacts is a commercial service earning money for links to savings accounts. To avoid any confusion: both MSE (owned by MoneySupermarket Group PLC) and Moneyfacts (owned by Moneyfacts Group PLC) are "free" commercial services that earn money from links and other forms of referrals. The main difference is that Moneyfacts tends to specialise in interest rate data - as it has done since first printing a single sheet, four page listing back in pre-internet days.2 -
As I posted somewhere else recently, you can suggest decent accounts using the broken link email address, they may or may not include it on the relevant page/s, you may or may not get a reply, I've done this for regular savings accounts etc, got replies & that's even regardless of wether they agree, also not just accounts themselves, tweaks to the tables like when they pay out etc.
MSE won't include various accounts for various reasons but you can try.
Eg they won't include Cambridge 6% because you have to have a relationship for 3 years before you can get it, so not deemed worthy because they would rather feature accounts that people can get more easily despite already featuring loyalty regular savers.
Try to give them as many reasons as possible for them to include an account, eg well this account allows you to deposit this much compared to X and it's the same rate or this account pays a better rate than X, this account is way better than several accounts you feature because of X y z.
Also just because they won't feature certain accounts now doesn't mean they won't in future because of falling rates etc, so MSE may not be as picky. 😉

The fact that they've still not included the RCI Bank 2 year at 5.05% (available since 19 April) does give the impression that MSE are not really interested in keeping this list up to date. Nothing wrong with that but probably better to provide a link to up-to-date information rather than giving readers old information.0

I’m sure RCI 2 year fix has only been added today., even though, as you say it’s been around for a few weeks.Don't wait for your ship to come in, swim out to it.0
