Hi

Please dont judge me. So im in a Scottish trust deed and my car engine has just went bang. I don’t have the amount to fix this and I have no one around me to ask for help. Does anyone have any idea where I could borrow money from short term? Or no of any overdraft options? I have tried my bank, I really don’t want to borrow but without a car I cannot work and without working I can’t pay the bills!!

Thanks

LL

Friends, family, local credit union, salary advance? Can you work remotely? Or use public transport or a bike? Could you get a cheapo run around from a local dealer with an MOT for a couple of months?

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
