Employer NI Contribution threshold changes 2024

Hi wonder if anyone can offer advice. I’m on a zero hours contract and have now discovered that I’m below the monthly threshold that my employers need to start contributing. I have looked into NI credits but don’t fit the criteria. I’m in my 60’s and have recently had to reduce my work hours due to health issues.

The important threshold for you is the lower earnings limit, providing that your earnings are at or above the lower earnings limit (LEL) you will be treated as having paid NI for that pay period.

    LEL for monthly is £533
