Good morning, it's a dry and grey start here, doesn't seem cold though.
We had a quiet day yesterday, I remembered to take my jacket to be cleaned. Camelot we used to have a dedicated dry cleaners here, but when that closed two of the local shops started to take it, so it's handy. Maybe people don't have as many things that need it now.
I tidied the freezer, and as usual vowed that it would stay that way (it won't)
We thought we might visit an NT place today, it's fairly near here, we like visiting houses and gsrdens, so hoping it stays fine.
Great to hear from you Nanny, sorry to hear about the itchy rash, it'll be driving you mad.
Izzy, my mother used to make onion pudding, so did I years ago. I used to steam it , it's delicious. I haven't made one for a long time time.
Hope everyone has a good day, take care folks.

Morning All
Thanks for the start Scarlet, hope you have a good day out.
After yesterday's dull but dry day it's pouring down this morning. I'll save the washing again!
After a swim I went up to the allotment and put in the supports for beans and peas, not that I have any yet as nothing seems to be growing apart from the onions. I sowed the sweet corn seeds so hopefully they will come up. I have a horrible feeling everything will be getting going when I'm away for 3 weeks.
Swimming this morning then some shopping, I'll need to nip to the garden centre to see if I can get some more seeds or small plants if they have them.
DD and family had to cancel their first ever camping trip as the little one was sick all Friday night, they have re-scheduled their trip for a few weeks time.
Hope your itchies die down Nanny, sounds very uncomfortable.
I have never heard of onion pudding, will look it up.
Hope you all have a peaceful Sunday. Take care. XX11 -
Morning all. Thanks for starting us off Scarlet. It's dank and grim here today, very uninviting. In contrast yesterday was a mostly fine day, that made me jump in the car for a drive which ended up in Oban which had an even better day. And it was packed too. I was told that there was some sort of festival going on so I didn't hang about.Sunday will be quiet. I need eggs so will venture out for them. I'll forage in the cupboard to concoct a lunch of sorts.@taff - two rashes sounds double the horribleness. I hope that they clear up soon.@camelot - poor wee one. She wasn't well a couple of weeks ago too, a wee bug perhaps?Hugs to all.10

Morning folks. It's fine here is the best I can say. Yesterday was much the same and the promised mizzle came to nothing. I live in hope the sun might make an appearance today..
Nowt planned for today but of course there are lots of "should dos" waiting for when I cba. Mostly outdoor stuff. But probably snooker watching will take priority.
Oh NAN there is nothing worse than constantly itching. I hope the stronger meds help. CAMELOT such a shame about the postponed camping trip. It's something to look forward to, again!
I've got the last of the sliced beef in gravy out for my lunch. I will do the veg next. And I think there are still a few frozen Yorkshires in the smaller freezer.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGFS)) for our poorlies, fed up or lonely. Take care all be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"9 -
Morning all
Looks to be a lovely day here, yesterday was glorious I spent most of it in the garden getting my pots done for the summer I planted up my hanging baskets too, it all looks lovely out there, we then walked the dogs up to the park and stopped in the pub for a couple it was so warm we could sit without a jumper.
Today I am going to jet wash the patio I’ve been saying I will do it for months but it’s rained so much I haven’t been able to, so today is the day OH can help me lift and shift things we should be all ready for summer then (if it ever comes ! ) I still need a few plants but will get them when I am out and about.
Dinner today will be pork belly strips with sticky sauce and rice and peas, I have stripped the beds this morning and they are chugging away in the wm the bedding should dry well today.
Nan your rash sounds so sore hope you are on the mend soon xxx
Have good days all and take care xx10 -

Morning all, thanks Scarlet, enjoy your trip out. We might have a ride out later, DH wants to give his old car a try out, it's garaged up all winter, and for the moment we have sun. DS1 has gone to do some work on his old car too, one of his car mates has a unit where it is at the moment, in bits. He's inherited the 'messing with cars' gene from DH and my DB1I've taken a pork fillet out for tea, it's very quick to cook in the AF, even quicker if I pan fry it in slices. I have some portobello mushrooms and some little potatoes too.Florence, sounds a busy day. Chrisca enjoy your sunshineHope DGD is better soon Camelot, shame about the camping trip.Izzy are you sure there isn't a pirhana in that fish tankGers our weather is so mixed atm.RR I've heard loads of jetwashing going on round here.Nan hope the meds help your rash.Have a good Sunday everyone x

Morning all, thank you, I wouldn't wish this itching on my worst enemies, mind you they wouldn't have time to fight because they'd be scratching instead ! At least it's not contagious, phew.
Yesterday all the washing was done and dried but I've yet to put it away, I'll do that this morning. I did start a new book yesterday too and sat outside on the patio but I couldn't sit in the sun so I sat in the shade, just for some fresh air.
Mr Fix It is strimming the jungle grass now as my stepping stones to the line had disappeared and the grass was half way up my leg when we hung the washing out. I'm disappointed because it's normally my job to do the garden and one I enjoy, but I still can't yet.
This afternoon I am going clothes shopping with DD but I'll have to cover up so as to not frighten anyone, DGS will stay with Mr Fix It and then stop for an overnighter. We'll probably have a takeaway for tea and I've bought plenty of snacks to keep him going between meals, DGS that is !
dp1 I believe you had a rash too, hope it's gone now.
Have a good Sunday everyone, hugs to the poorly people.
