- Soltan Once Age Defence 8hr protect SPF 50- 50ml: great for when you know you're going to be outside a lot but dont want to have to reapply. Got some more arriving shortly, as I forgot to add it to my Boots order the other week
:
- Nina Ricci- 1 x sample spray
Throw away- Sugarpill loose eyeshadow in Penelope: A super reflective metallic copper with extra large particles. It's just too flakey (the flakes are HUGE!) and annoying- they fall all over your face! I hate it, so I am calling it. It's on my PP list, so I'll need to think of a replacement (along with the other things last week I got rid of)- still thinking on that.

- Boots Soltan Advanced 8hr Protect Suncare Spray SPF30: Finished up the dregs of last years sunscreen. Have repurchased but with my preferred SPF 50.
- The Body Shop hand cream- Winter Jasmine: Woohoo, a hand cream used up- these take me ages! This was a Christmas gift a few years back (it pre-dates my toiletries spreadsheet!!), but I wouldn't have purchased it myself as I don't love the scent.
- Essie nail polish- Playing Koi: It just looked too pretty and Autumnal to pass up! Used Boots points to get this, so it was effectively "free"
- e.l.f. Stay All Night Setting Mist 80ML: Current spray is running low and wanted to try this heading into summer when you get a bit hot n shiny and the makeup slides off your face. Want to see if this will help stop the slide. Used Boots points to buy this.
- Soltan Once Age Defence Advanced 8hr Protect Facial Suncare Cream with Hyaluronic Acid SPF50: replacement. Also used points.
- Pampers Harmonie Aqua Baby Wipes x 2: spent actual money on these. Handy to have and current one is running low.

I'm back from a week in Lamzarote. I finished my Very Valentino Born in Roma Yellow Dream, a tube of Benefit Bad Gal Bang Mascara, a small bar of Loccitane Milk soap and a small tube of Dr Jart Ciclapar cream. I threw away a Lacura Glamour Wand highlighter as I couldnt make it work.
I had some INS - MAC Primer and lipgloss from the airport, a pack of 2 Benefit BGB mascara from the plane, a bottle of Aloe Vera shower gel and some Micellar Water wipes (I thought they were tea tree) from the Supermarket and a bottle of Paco Rabanne Olympea.
I'm not sure that i'll finish any other items from my PP list.
OT I have got back into reading and would recommend Everyone Here is Lying by Shari Lapena and The Hike by Lucy Clarke.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Did you have a good holiday, @VALM? Those two books sound like good page-turners, I'll try to remember them when I'm picking my next book!
I had a bit of a sort out at the weekend and found a few expired items to throw away:- Vaseline Lip Therapy lipbalm: A tube of lipbalm. Went to use it but it smelt weird, so I'm binning it.
- The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution 240ml: expired during my year of eczema. Well, because I haven't been brave enough to try acids since my skin issues started.
- COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid 100ml: ditto.
- Vaseline Coconut Radiant Body Oil: This product precedes my toiletries spreadsheet which I started in 2022, and it looks a little cloudy so I'm binning. It was on my PP list. Next month I'll figure out what to do with my list as I binned a few products on there recently!
UU- Pampers babywipes- Aqua
- The Inkey List- Salicylic Acid Cleanser: Use this to clean my brushes and makeup sponge. Should probably find a cheaper option, but I feel like a salicylic cleanser will clean them better than regular
Only thing I might finish between now and payday is my setting spray, but aside from that think I am done for the month tbh.Jan Grocery Challenge 2023: £181.18/£400

UU Spiez day moisturiser. Was in a gift pack with the make up remover I usually use. Love the make up remover but would not buy the moisturiser. I was struggling to get through it and in the end threw the mini tin away.
UU Oskia Vitamin C Capsules. I love these as a morning serum but too expensive to buy again and fiddly as each one has to be cut open and that leaves the little orange pack to throw/recycle in the bathroom. They do however really work well so ideas for an alternative serum for old and somewhat damaged skin Vitamin C or maybe B5 perhaps?Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!2 -
I've not tried it myself, but I've heard that Geek & Gorgeous' C-Glow serum is great, and it's made fresh every week! I haven't tried it since my skin has been so sensitive this last year, but apparently that's a good one!Jan Grocery Challenge 2023: £181.18/£400
