I have completed forms and I have rec'd a letter from HMRC to confirm that I am entitled to HRP. I am trying to find out what happens next. I spoke to HMRC, they told me to contact State Pension Centre. I called but you cant speak to anyone. Has anyone had a similar experience and could advise how I find out?

they told me to contact State Pension Centre. They do not exist.Have you reached state pension age already ?If yes you need to contact the Pension Service who will check your record. If no the Future Pension CentreWhat year did you / will you reach pension age ?Have you checked your NI record in your on line tax account to see if it has been updated ?

I'm doing this on behalf of a family member who is well past pension age. It was the HRP people at HMRC who told me to contact the State Pension Centre, they even gave me a number which is a recorded msg from DWP referring callers to the web site then cutting off. Thank you for the advice I will check0
