Non UK resident and Pension plan

Hi,
as I moved abroad, I understand that after 5 years I will not be able to pay anymore into my UK-based pension scheme.
I see that there are some SIPP products that are open to non-UK residents too.
This is a bit uncharted land for me though, and I am not finding a guide like the ones MSE offers.
Basically, I fear to be scammed and invest my savings in a pension that will never be real.
How did other Expats here solve this problem?
Did you find any reliable SIPP, or did you find other solutions?
Any advice is welcome - feeling really worried about it at the moment.
Thank you.

    Where "abroad" are you?

Have you checked your state pension situation?

I'm a UK expat. I solved the pension problem by using schemes available where I work and pay tax and by making voluntary UK NI payments. You might want to ask your question in the relevant country forum over at
