PPF Tax Code Change
Comments
-
Thanks to molerat and Dazed... for the additional comments later yesterday. In recent years my income has been within the personal allowance and the PPF I mentioned is a very small amount. Considering my age (as I approach SPA) and other circumstances though (such as interest from savings and pensions not yet taken), I am paying closer attention to any taxable income now and in the future. Up to now, I have not accessed my personal online tax account. BTW, to answer the question put to me, I have not paid tax when I didn't think I should have...I just noticed the tax code on my PPF P60 had changed. All in all, it would seem to make sense for me to access my online tax account and I intend to attempt this later this week. Hopefully this will lead me to a better understanding as to why my tax code changed and also will help me to manage things as my circumstances develop. Thanks again for your comments!0

Have you obtained a State Pension Forecast?

if you have any DC pensions, have you obtained a Pension Wise appointment?

Thanks xylophone. The last SP forecast I got was in June last year. I have not made a Pension Wise appointment yet, but intend to do so later this year. I will also get another SP forecast later this year (currently just under 2 years short of SPA ). Thank you!1
