Trying to understand what you're hoping to accomplish. You want to buy out your brothers so you can turn around and sell the property? At a lower price?
What happens if the property is not sold? Council tax and the rest will still need to be paid so the estate will dwindle in value. Why don't you walk away and leave it up to them to sort out?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Is there any other money/ value in the estate where you could get your £130k and leave them the house?

Thanks, because I want, and need earlier, the funds. It's fair enough they want to wait, but they are stalking. I'm prepared to take a bit, not huge, hit to get things moving.Brie said:Trying to understand what you're hoping to accomplish. Hang on in your first post you say there was no will then you go on to talk about executors.
No will , no executors, just an administrator.
So was there a will or not?If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.2 -
Thanks, slipped into the general terminology. No will. I did the Probate and got the letters of administration. We're jointly administrators.Grumpelstiltskin said:Hang on in your first post you say there was no will then you go on to talk about executors.

Thanks, obviously I'm aware I'm not the first or last. Which Is why I'm hoping I might be missing a solution that fits my circumstances.Grumpelstiltskin said:OK If you read this section you will realize you are not the only one with problem siblings.
